timerService.GetCurrentTime( new App42CallBack() ); returns 1401: Client is not authorized

timerService.GetCurrentTimenew App42CallBack() );   

When my iMac system time is automatically set (sccurate) I get a SUCCESS on the abve call. but if I change my iMac system date manually to an inaccurate date and make the above call I get an exception:  1401: Client is not authorized
 
Why?

Hello Huffman,

Ideally this should give the time irrespective to device time setting. However you can disable the replay attack from AppHQ Management console for your app, it will resolve your issue. To disable the replay attack, kindly follow just simple steps:

  • Login to your AppHQ Management Console
  • Click on View App under App Manager section
  • Disable the replay attack & run the method again

We have logged this issue and will give  a fix before this month end.image

That did the trick. Was it a bug? And should I re-enable it after the fix?
We are looking into it, will update you when we done from testing part.
