Xcode 14 Simulator Build Error

Also, please enable the SDK internal logs using following code just after initializeWithAPIKey call:

Hi,

I believe, you using advaned section for sending push from AppHQ. Please use Simple section as message type in the send/schedule push pannel and try to send JSON instead a normal string. You can send as many key-value pair you want in that JSON. The format of the JSON can be as follows:

{"alert”:”Your Message","content-available":"1","customKey":"customValue","badge":"increment","sound":"Default”}

You can achieve your requirement with above JSON. Let me know if you have any further queries.

Yes, it is possible to find document with multiple keys and values. You have to use FindDocumentByQuery for the same as follows:

Hi Prabhjas,

It is happening because of your if-else structure in your code. When the app is in Foreground then your if block condition is true and hence you are getting the alert. But when the app is in Background and you click on the push alert then your else block executes and there is no code handle it so your are not able to see anything.

Please check the password you have entered in AppHQ while uploading .p12 file. If you are still getting this problem then i will suggest you to recreate the .p12 file as described here and upload it to AppHQ with the same password which you gave while creating it.

You can achieve this by following the below steps:

Create one HTML page and host that page into our server using File Storage service ( How? Login to AppHQ console Storage > File > Upload File option. Select HTML type and upload it)
At the time of creating the User, send the above uploaded URL in email by appending user email id in query params (Email Verification URL)
In the Html file page, write the logic of getting query params from URL and save information in No-SQL Storage service that email verify is true (Using JavaScript SDK)

By following the above steps, you can easily validate that user has verified his/her email address or not.

Also, at the time of login into App, you can check the above document into the collection. If a document exists in the database which has email verify true for that email id then allow the user to enter into the app else redirect into the verified process.

Hi Khanh,

Putting some delay to print the response is not the recommende way because to put delay you will be giving some constant amount of time but this does not guarantee that your response comes before that fixed delay time.

You can implement delegate pattern to notify the ViewController that your DataManager has got the response. The Delegate method can be implemented in the ViewController. Once response comes, you can trigger the delegate method from your DataManager to perform the task need to be done with the response received.

I called print(self.json) from another method after the response came and i was able to print the json value.

To answer your query "Does app42 store the logged in user locally itself", yes once you call authenticate object we save logged in user and session id local pref. And you get logged in user value using getLoggedInUser function.

Yes, you can manage this by editing the user scores like whenever user earn new gold currency, you can fetch the previous details from the server and update the records based on their previous score + new score. I have upadetd the sdk with getLoggedInUser API in App42API class which you can call as follows:

[App42API getLoggedInUser]

If you are using createUser API of User Service then on successfull user creation, you can use the above API every time you open your app to check if user is loggedIn.

You can aslo set loggeIn user manually as follows:

[App42API setLoggedInUser:@"Your user name"];

You can get the user later on as stated above.

Hello Khanh,

You can store the sessionID either on your app local storage or App42 Storage service, it depends on you.

If you store it locally then you dont have to store the login details of each and every user to App42 Storage service and fetch every time when the app opens.

But if the security is a concern for your app then it is preferable to store the sessionID on the cloud(App42 Storage service).
