UserService fails with an exception

Hi there,

I am trying to implement a Userservice in which I am looking to authenticate the user by username + password.

So far so good, but using the sample app for Windows8.1, I receive an exception in the Dispatcher class:

public static void ExceuteAsync (Action action)

{ if (dispatcher.HasThreadAccess) >>>>this thrown an exception and I don't know where is the problem
[...]

Does anybody know what's the problem here?

Many thanks in advance.

Best wishes,
Michael

Scoreboard service support in the Windows RT SDK?

The Windows SDK seems to be lagging behind quite a bit. I'm building (using Monogame) a cross platform game that will be running on Android, Windows 10 and iOS and using the WIndows RT SDK for the UWP version -- I'm missing the scoreboard services.

Is there a REST only model for the scoreboard APIs?

Thanks,

Arik

Absence of strong key signature for App42 SDK v2.1 for WinRT

It looks like App42 SDK for WinRT v 2.1 (appears to be the latest one) is not signed with a strong key.

Whether we like it or not (I actually don't like it, but have to live with it :) ), Microsoft requires that, if the app is signed, than ALL its components must be signed, otherwise the application crashes as soon as it tries to load an unsigned DLL . For that reason I cannot sign my app.

The fix in Visual Studio is pretty straighforward: you just create a strong name key file in Signing section of project properties and tick "Sign" box. As far as I understand it, this will allow the App42 SDK library to run with both signed and unsigned apps.

Thanks

No UpdateAvatar or DeleteAvatar in Windows RT version

App42 Documentation for AvatarService mentions functions UpdateAvatar, DeleteAvatarByName, DeleteAllAvatar, however neither of Update or Delete functions appears in SDK 1.2 for Windows RT! What it effectively means, that once the avatar is entered, it will stay forever, without ability to delete and modify it.

It is possible to get away without Update, by deleting and re-creating, but without Delete functionality, this is completely unbearable!
