Setup custom email for sending reset Password info

Hello

I'm trying to setup email for my app on dashboard to send reset password info with my preference, but got problem.

Follow this post as a reference, but get no success

What was done

GMAIL

google setting - official settings, see attached png

Yahoo

POP access settings and instructions for Yahoo Mail | Yahoo Help ... - official settings, see attached png

Problem

When I try to send email - I got message mail sent successfully, but I don't receive any email

After reading post found similar problem described here - exactly same case as I have. On linked post there is no solution for problem and post to old to continue there.

Also, I got from google warning about unsecured connection, but even if I turn security to lowest level - it's not work (for yahoo service, I even not receive anything).

Another problem - when I try to save template - I got notification: "saved", but when I return back in few min it's gone....

Exception generated by "findDocumentByKeyValue"

I want to develop a logic which finds the document using "findDocumentByKeyValue" and if such document not found then i want to create the document. For this use case i need to write Document creation code in "onException" of "findDocumentByKeyValue" method. Now problem is whnever coding flow enters into the "onException" connection gets lost with error "Should stop return ......Missed 3 beats" something like this.

Is there any solution for this ??

Best way to create a backup (Export and Import)

Dear team, I am using AppHQ dashboard and I am trying to find the best way in order to backup and restore my data but I find it difficult. If I export the file as .csv I have headers of updatedAt, createdAt, ... but when I import the file, how can I set the same dates? I see that I only can to import a json with the data but createAt and other headers are created again. I don't know how to solve this and I see a very high risk for the future if I want to restore all my data. What do you suggest? Best regards

how to join room when tap on push notification invitation for private room

Hello,

i am creating a multipalyer game in which i wan to invite a player for a private table using app42 push notificaiton form player to invited player in msg i pass name room in which inivted player should join when it tap on push notifiaction.

public void onMessage(String msg)

in this fuction i get msg which is name of room so on tap on msg it should direct join room.

But currenlt it launch application and all ohte ractivity destroy when i tap on message.

Plaese help me to solve this.

i want to kno that ifd i get message for push notification than tap on message how to redirect spicific window depend on message which message arrive on push notification.

Flex dispatch events from API42

So what i am trying to do is minimize the files needed for callbacks in flex. I have a login page where i authenticate the user using

FlexGlobals.topLevelApplication.userService.authenticate(usernameInput.text, passInput.text, new BasicCallback());

The BasicCallback() implements App42CallBack with onSuccess and onException.

In the onSuccess function, i am tryint to dispatch a custom event without any lack.

		{

			var user:User = User(response);  
			trace("response is : " + user); 
			
			var dispatcher:EventDispatcher = new EventDispatcher();
			dispatcher.dispatchEvent( new ResponseEvent( ResponseEvent.DATA_LOADED, true, false, response ) );

Can someone help?

Is there a way to move the BasicCallback in my mxml file?

UPDATED:

After a lot of try and error, my team and I managed to find a good enough solution.

1st, we created a custom event which is able to not only return event hits (complete, failed,etc) but also parameters.

Then we extended any callback like the following:

public class BasicCallback extends EventDispatcher implements App42CallBack

This way we are able to dispatch an event during the onSuccess call returning the needed data to the mxml file.

This is great to use in mxml flex mobile apps.
