Buddy Service-Send Friend Request

Hi All

I want to use buddy service. I will send friend request to users. What I am trying to do it is that there will be a search box. User will enter some text. I will retrieve users whose usernames start with searched text. How Can I achieve that? I did not found any api to get users whose name start with blabla. I guess custom code is needed here. If yes, how should be the custom code here?

Are there any free game examples in market that uses buddy manager? Maybe I can look it how they use it...

Hi Gokhan,

 

Using user management API, you have the way to get the user based on their name. Please have a look at this link for the code snippet and let me know if it helps.

P.S This method takes other meta headers which contain the value of searched text which have along with you at the time of searching users.
