For Android GCM service, how to delete device token without username?

Question

The case is like this:

User first registered with gcm through our app,

Then user A directly uninstalled the app, so there is no change for the app the call the api to delete the device token from the server, and if user B reinstalled the app, he will see messages send to Both A and B  because the devices id is on app42 server for both uesrs.

 

Any idea how to solve it ?

You can delete/unsubscribe user device by calling this method http://api.shephertz.com/app42-docs/push-notification-service/?sdk=unity#delete-device-token however there is no method to unsubscribe user using deviceId only.

This looks a valid use case though. We will put this in our future release.
