Check username already exists

Question

Hello, Is there way to check if username is already exists? Is "appErrorCode" or "httpErrorCode" from Exception can use for this case (i mean that code is unique for this case)? Thanks!

If are using App42 UserService API. You can handle different error codes based on you business logic.Please go through with Error Code Documentation.

So is there anyway to check username is already use without call create and handle error code?

If you creates the user with the same device then you can save the details once created and can do validation if want to create the same.
If its across multiple devices you need to make a API call for this.
